Happy Wednesday! Our intern, Andersen, is sharing her take on Pantone's 2016 Colors of the Year! Find Rose Quartz and Serenity inspiration below as well as some tips for choosing your own wedding colors!

It's officially wedding season and after creating your perfect Pinterest wedding board, you start to see a color trend. This year’s trend is not just one color, but two! The colors are what most people would call pale pink, the experts are calling it Rose Quartz and its partner color Serenity,  a pale blue. Used alone or together, these two colors reflect a sense of elegance and peace.

Whether you are using these colors for your bridesmaid’s dresses, bouquet or the newest sensation; the flower crown, these colors are not hard to come by. Check out this stunning bouquet by our very own Megan Willis, owner of Celebrate Colorfully! It combines a variety of color, but includes the two colors of the year!

These two Pantone 2016 colors, have also been noted by a famous jewelry designer, Kendra Scott, and a line was made specially for Rose Quartz and Serenity. Many brides and their “bride tribes” have taken these colors to the next level and are wearing them as their accessories.
