Today’s blog is an especially sweet one! We’re featuring David and louisa’s October wedding and we promise you’ll love it as much as we do. every part of this beautiful day was so intimate and warm.

We also have a little bit of a confession to make! As much as we love a good speech we can typically keep a stiff upper lip, but Louisa’s father got us a little misty eyed. He wasn’t able to attend the wedding in person so he pre-recorded his speech and all the way from China (and through a fancy little projector) the love for his daughter and new son-in-law filled the room. Such a special moment we’ll never forget.

LOOKING BACK AT 2019

Twenty nineteen is officially over and it’s been such an amazing and rewarding journey. Every year comes with its own set of challenges, but we've been lucky to celebrate the love of so many beautiful souls. Thankful, joyful, and honored can't even begin to sum it up. Thinking back 2019 was full of so many of our favorite things: sweet teary-eyed parents, moves busted on the dance floor, breathtakingly beautiful vows, and belly laughs. We've witnessed so many unions brought together in love. We’ve witnessed so many promises of forever and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year.

DANIELLE + NICK | JEFFERSON TOWER

Happy Monday friends! It's a special day indeed! Today we're sharing Danielle + Nick's intimate wedding set in the woods of South Dallas. D + N are locals to our old neighborhood, Bishop Arts, and found us while wandering past the studio one night while walking the pups. It was love at first sight for this one. Once Danielle shared her wedding vision, we were hooked!

Set in the lush woodland landscape of Cedar Ridge Preserve just south of downtown Dallas, D+N tied the knot on stage and under a stunning copper arch styled by Silka + her team with Jefferson Tower Events. The setting was a perfect expression of the couple -- laid back and personable with a subtle hint of whimsy. Of course, the pups mentioned before made an appearance for their parents wedding day and managed to steal a little spotlight for themselves as dogs tend to do. Its hard to contain all that excitement when your parents get married!

Once official, the newlyweds and party moved to the top floor of Jefferson Tower for an excellent view of downtown Dallas and an epic dinner + dance party. Danielle always envisioned a single long table to seat all of their guests and the final design did not disappoint! The minimalism in decor made a statement of it's own; the all white setting was the perfect backdrop. Big thank you to Ashley Rhian Photography for capturing this epic day so we could share it with all of you!

NHU + VINH | D WEDDINGS FEATURE

#OHHELLSYEAH!! The Celebrate Dallas blog is back! It's been a long hiatus from writing and posting and we're so excited to get back into sharing our creative space with all of you! We feel it's only fitting to kick it off with our "oldest unposted wedding" which we kept under wraps for very good reason but have been dying to share since the gallery hit our inboxes LAST YEAR!!

We truly have to thank Shaun & Shannon Menary, our amazing photography duo, for submitting this lovingly crafted day to D Weddings for their Fall issue. We're incredibly honored and humbled to be included in it's glossy pages. Our first print publication, someone pinch me!

It was hard to keep this one close to vest. Nhu + Vinh hold a special place in our hearts and over the year long planning process, we became quite good friends. Witnessing their day miraculously unfold into a magical sun-lit garden party within the span of a few hours was incredible and only those in attendance can truly understand the labor of love this day was (see photos of Groom drying the dance floor for proof!)

Nhu came with a solid vision for her wedding day -- a bold mix of color and culture. If you've been following along, you know we love color, so Megan was thrilled! Pairing textural pinks + warmer orange tones, we pulled inspiration from the surrounding landscape to create the perfect setting for a summer wedding. This day was truly magical in more ways than one and we're so excited to finally share it with you!
