INSPIRATION | WHITE BRIDESMAID DRESSES

What comes to mind when you think of a chic and elegant wedding? An all-white wedding, of course! When we say an all-white wedding, we mean an ALL-white wedding. This includes bridesmaid dresses. Wait a second...we know what you’re thinking: most bridesmaids wear a different color than the bride. It’s like.. a rule, right? No!

Not only are white dresses universally flattering, but it’s a perfect color for all types of weddings – from a relaxed beach wedding to a fancy country club wedding.

Normally, bridesmaids wear a different color for the bride’s fear of blending in with her girls, but we all know the bride ALWAYS stands out. If that’s one of your reasons for not considering outfitting your bridesmaids in white there are a few things to keep in mind.

Your bridesmaids dresses can be a different length than your dress. If you have a floor-length dress your girls’ dresses can be knee-length, for example. Their dresses can be made of a different fabric or have a unique texture. Having different necklines will also help you stand out. If your dress is strapless your bridesmaids can opt to wear a V-neck or one-shouldered dress.

There is so much versatility when it comes to choosing white bridesmaid dresses.

INSPIRATION | NUDES

At Celebrate Colorfully we believe that every color deserves a party--especially the nudes. Often underappreciated, this palette is filled with romantic shades in soft blushes and whimsical tints. While it might seem intimidating to go the nude route, we're here to prove that nude/muted doesn't have to mean dull and boring. Here's some inspiration on how to bare it all when committing to a nude wedding.

BARE WITH ME: WAYS TO DECORATE WITH NUDES

Mixing shades of nudes creates a playful intimacy for your palette. Consider bringing in soft earth tones like subtle greens, pale purples or soft blues to create a natural/minimalist look.

Nudes pair well with patterns and prints. Mix trends by blending the soft hues of the nude family with the bold lines of the chevron family for a flirty and romantic table space.

 BARE 101: MIX YOUR NUDES

Nudes help add the perfect touch to a deeply rich palette. When combined with vibrant shades, like red and navy, nudes help accentuate their bold counterparts.

BARE IT ALL: HOW TO WEAR NUDE IN THE CLASSIEST OF WAYS

Love the idea of nudes but, can't imagine skipping the bolds as a main color option? Try incorporating nudes into your bridal party instead. These soft shades will play well against more loud tones in dresses and bouquets.

From flowers to your farewell car, there's no shortage of ways to add a bit of nude to your big day. These colors can help turn up or calm down an otherwise hectic palette. We know you've made a big committment to your future spouse but, let's make another committment to the nudes.

INSPIRATION | MARBLE

You know what day it is? That's right! Hump day! Welcome back and we hope you're ready for some out-of-the-box inspiration!

With the lush garden style becoming such a prominent trend this wedding season, brides and their planning helpers (whoever that might be) have begun to look for new and interesting ways to make their wedding stand out! With that search..... we have found marble. No, not the marble countertops in your kitchen, but marble cakes, marble invitations and so much more!

Marble wedding cakes are probably the more popular of the marble trends, because they can come in so many different colors! You can keep it neutral with the traditional white and grey, or spice it up with an accent color from your wedding swatch!

A marble and gold foil wedding invitation is an elegant and different way to introduce marble into your wedding style. We love this invite, it's timeless and while it is a popular trend currently, you won't regret using a marble background for you invitations 10 years from now!

You could try adding greenery to the top of this sign to add some flare, or leave it how it is! We love it both ways! We haven't seen a sign like this yet, so it is something that would stand out to your guests!

Your table numbers are another easy way to incorporate marble into your special day! They're a light and non-overbearing feature that helps tie all your marble aspect together. Whether it's blocks of marble like this photo (which is so cool!!) or marble prints, both options are stunning in their own design.

Marble is such a fun aspect to consider for your wedding! So many color options, and no two marble decor pieces should be the exact same! It's a win-win... variety and uniqueness! And that's something we love here at Celebrate Colorfully! We hope you have an awesome hump day and rest of the week! Adios friends! :)

Inspiration | Silver

As you might have noticed over the past few years, gold has played a big part in the wedding design world. Along with the "rustic chic" style, gold has truly had it's shining moment! From votives, to table numbers, and even onto the invitations, gold is everywhere. So, here at Celebrate Colorfully, we wanted to mix it up a little and show you why silver should be your metallic color of choice!

It's time to break free of the gold trend! Change those gold votives, centerpiece vases, and cake toppers to something silver! Even adding silver sparkle is fun! Silver is a timeless, classic, and surely is beautiful. Keep scrolling for silver inspiration!

Wow! We love this idea. Calligraphy is something we use often, but changing from the traditional black pen, to a silver metallic... brilliant!

Silver can be a true show stopper! Don't be afraid to abandon the trend of gold! If you're looking for something to be unique (and I mean, who isn't!?), consider silver! A subtle change of a base color can make all the difference.

We hope those creative juices are flowing, and maybe even some silver sparkles in those eyes of yours! Once again, thank you for checking into this week's Inspiration post!
